Dental coverage is provided in Greece through a network of contracted dentists.
For dental care, a Coordinating Center operates throughout the year, 24 hours a day, which provides medical advice by telephone, as well as information on the use of coverage benefits.
The insured, in order to make use of the benefits of the coverage, must necessarily contact the Coordinating Center for Dental Care.
Persons from the age of one (1) month to 65 years are insured.

Allowances
The Company covers, up to the maximum annual coverage amount stated below, the cost of unlimited dental procedures at a rate of eighty percent (80%) on pre-determined rates.
Exceptionally:
A. Especially for prosthetic and orthodontic work, the above percentage of coverage on the predetermined prices varies for the first year of insurance and for each annual renewal as follows:
1st year: sixty-five percent (65%)
2nd year: seventy percent (70%)
3rd year onwards: eighty percent (80%)
B. The above percentage of coverage on the predetermined prices for dental operations: a) control and plaque removal – fluoridation, b) cap removal, c) filling with amalgam and polishing, d) filling of holes and fissures per tooth (sealants), e ) bleaching (excluding the cost of purchasing materials and splints), is formed at a rate of ninety percent (90%).
Excluded from coverage are the costs of precious metals (silver, palladium, gold and platinum), if selected for use, as well as the costs of dental prosthetic restorations, prosthetic components, implants, membranes and special orthodontic appliances.
The maximum annual coverage amount per insured person is set for the first year of insurance and increases at each annual renewal as follows:
1st year: €3,000
2nd year: €3,500
3rd year: € 4,000
4th year: € 4,500
5th year and onwards: € 5,000
It is clarified that the payment of the insured's own participation and the cost of the non-covered according to the above materials and actions is made directly to the contracted dentist.
