The employer's liability insurance covers the statutory civil liability of the employer against his salaried laborers and other staff, who is employed in the project or company as it’s detailed in the Insurance Policy and they are insured with IKA or another institution of main social security for claims arising from bodily harm / death that they may suffer during the exercise of their duties, as well as financial compensation for moral damage or mental suffering. (Articles 657, 658 - 932 of the Civil Code).
In particular, the Insured's obligation is covered ca payment to the sufferer of the difference between the daily wage provided by the I.K.A. or from another main social security institution and that which is actually paid by the Insured according to his considered salary statements, for as many days as the victim will be away from work and for a maximum period of ……… days if the accident took place one year after the beginning of the employment contract between employer and employee and until ... .... days in any other case, as specifically defined in articles 657 and 658 of the Civil Code.
