Security of Foreigners
In order for Foreigners - citizens of third countries - to obtain or renew a permit
stay, they should provide the competent authority with an Insurance Certificate and/or
Insurance policy in accordance with what is defined in Law 4251/2014.
What does foreigner insurance cover? ?
The IMMIGRANTS Care program covers Hospital expenses and
of Medical Care that took place within a Public Hospital
as a result of an Accident or Illness. At the same time, it provides compensation to the insured
in case of Permanent Total or Partial Disability due to an Accident. It is annual
duration and is valid exclusively within the Greek Territory. In the program
foreign citizens aged between 3 months and 85 years can join.

Comprehensive health insurance system
• Permanent Total or Partial Disability
The Company undertakes the obligation to pay the insured person or persons
its beneficiaries, the insured capital of €15,000 in the event that due
Accident occurs Permanent Total Disability. In case of Permanent Part
Incapacity due to an Accident, a percentage of the above capital is paid according to
the degree of incapacity.
• Hospital care
Hospital Expenses: 80% of recognized expenses is covered
(participation of the insured 20% on the actual costs) in case
hospitalization of the insured in a Public Hospital within Greece, due to
Accident or Illness, up to the amount of €10,000 per incident and per year.
• Medical care
The company covers the 80% of the costs of treatment at Public Outpatient Clinics
Hospital within Greece up to the maximum annual limit of €1,500 without a lower limit.
Description of Covers Chapters
– Permanent Total Disability due to an Accident €15,000
– Permanent Partial Disability from an Accident (%) up to €15,000
– Hospital Treatment due to Accident or Illness only within a Public Nursing Institution up to €10,000 per event and per year
– Medical and Pharmaceutical Treatment due to Accident or Illness only within a Public Nursing Institution up to €1,500 per year
